Intra-Gastric Balloon<\/h4>\n

In this method, a hollow balloon is inserted into the stomach by the endoscope device. This balloon is then inflated and partially fills the patient’s stomach, giving a feeling of fullness. The gastric balloon is defined as a non-surgical method, unlike the methods of gastric reduction surgery.<\/p>\n

It is not a surgical operation, no incisions are made. As anesthesia, a mild sedation is given and the procedure is painless. The balloon is inserted into the stomach by the endoscope with camera support, then it is inflated with saline fluid and air.<\/p>\n
